Where have we gone?
Hello friends and family!
Charlie and I have been hiding out in San Antonio for the last 2 months. He is finishing up training for the C5 aircraft and I have been mastering the art of being a house wife. It is VERY hot down here in Texas but we have had fun enjoying the river walk and sea world. Hopefully fiesta texas is next on our list! Also a BIG thank you to my Uncle Robert, Aunt Oxana, and Nina for letting us stay with them, helping us with a few household items, taking us out on the boat and for being so hospitable to Charlie and me during our stay. Yal are awesome!
While Charlie is away at work I have had the luxury of taking time for myself to read, create, craft, bake, decorate, cook, exercise, travel, and RELAX! After those last few months of finishing my college degree and planning a wedding I welcomed the chance to unwind and take care of my husband. : ) It is wonderful not to have a long distance relationship anymore. HOWEVER. . . this next year, Charlie will be gone flying for about half the year. So I am warning everyone NOW that I will be extremely protective of the time he has at home. And I should be : )
October 1st I'll be headed back to Colorado. I can't wait to see my friends and family again, and I am very excited to go out to California with my mom to look at houses!! Charlie and I are planning on buying a house to make our home and I can't wait to get out there to see where the next three years of our life will be!
His report date is October 17th, so that is for sure at least when we will be there. Can't wait to share more when we have arrived! Pictures of the last few months will be up shortly.

A Bridal Shower in Memphis
This past weekend Charlie's mom Evelyn threw me a beautiful bridal shower at their home in Memphis, TN. Charlie and I drove up to Memphis Wednesday night and stayed until Sunday.
Thursday Charlie went fishing with his dad while Evelyn and I worked ALL day on making cupcakes from scratch!
Friday we decided to go on a date night out to a sushi restaurant. I had fun trying new sushi!
In these favors, we had little tiny pots with flower seeds called "Burning love" seeds. They were filled with lots of chocolate and the flowers on top were little clips that also served as part of the favor.
ALL homemade batter and icing, we had chocolate angle food cake, with chocolate icing, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and white angle food cake with vanilla icing.

Charlie's First Assignment: C-5 to Travis AFB in California!!!!!
Charlie and I are so excited! We will be moving to California sometime this year for his first assignment flying the huge C-5 airplanes!
Assignment might was an amazing night for everyone! A lot of great planes and locations were given out. I'm so proud of Charlie for earning HIS number one choice of aircraft and MY number one choice for a location! We couldn't be happier!
This is after we found out! Very happy!
We all got together around a bon fire that night to celebrate the accomplishments of the SUPT guys. (Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training) They were all so happy and excited!
But soon they realized they were all going to be separated. And they decided to "wrestle". . . however this looked a lot like hugging and crying together to me! ; )
Before we move to California, there will be training for this new plane somewhere else. Before I post exactly where it will be I want to wait until he gets his official orders. It will be about 4 months there and then we will be able to move to CA, however, the training might be in CA so I will post again (hopefully) by next Wednesday when we are expecting to find out!

2 Months Until We're Married!
Charlie asked me to marry him on December 25, 2009 : ) That was about 15 months ago. We are preparing to get married and leave our families and friends onto our first adventure together as married people. This blog is going to be our way of staying connected to our loved ones through posts, pictures, and comments.
I hope everyone will enjoy keeping up with our life as much as we enjoy keeping up with everyone else's lives through blogs.
Yesterday marked the "2 months left" day! I can't believe that the wedding is finally starting to feel within reach, we've been waiting so long. Speaking of waiting, this Friday (March 25th) will be an evening we have been waiting on for a while.
Charlie's assignment night is coming up! I'm very excited to find out where we will be living the next three years, and I can't wait to make phone calls to everyone to let them know where they will be visiting! Start praying now that God sends us exactly where he has a plan for the plane Charlie will be flying and for me to figure out something exciting to do while he's a work! : )
Until Friday! Bye for now
