This past weekend Charlie's mom Evelyn threw me a beautiful bridal shower at their home in Memphis, TN. Charlie and I drove up to Memphis Wednesday night and stayed until Sunday.
Thursday Charlie went fishing with his dad while Evelyn and I worked ALL day on making cupcakes from scratch!
Friday we decided to go on a date night out to a sushi restaurant. I had fun trying new sushi!
Saturday morning we went to pick out the wedding band for me! I'm very excited about it! After a busy morning, it was time for my bridal shower to start.
In these favors, we had little tiny pots with flower seeds called "Burning love" seeds. They were filled with lots of chocolate and the flowers on top were little clips that also served as part of the favor.
ALL homemade batter and icing, we had chocolate angle food cake, with chocolate icing, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and white angle food cake with vanilla icing.
Charlie's mom Evelyn and his little sister Cate gave me a beautiful bridal shower! I had a wonderful time and received a lot of useful, thoughtful, and beautiful gifts, Thank you!!!
Oh my goodness! This bridal shower in Memphis is the cutest one I have ever seen. Every little detail in this shower is heart touching. At one of the local Chicago venues I too hosted a chic vintage inspired wedding shower for a friend and had used a lot of colorful blooms for the décor which everyone loved.
